To ensure high standards of operational performance, safety and quality, AfrikDelta Marine Limited has adopted Smit Lamnalco’s new Integrated Management System (“SLIMS”). SLIMS meets a number of industry regulatory requirements including; ISM Safety Management, ISO 9001 Quality Assurance, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety.

SLIMS brings together guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices, to give guidance and clarity to our personnel, and thus vessel operations, to ensure regulatory compliance, and to deliver safe, reliable and consistent services to our clients.

The SLIMS Elements (chapters) follow the Offshore Vessel Management and Self Assessment (OVMSA) guidelines of The Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF), the widely recognized oil and gas company industry association.

Smit Lamnalco and its Nigerian affiliates, is one of a very small number of marine companies in Nigeria to have currently adopted OVMSA as the cornerstone of its management systems, and thus we are leading the industry in the delivery of safe and quality operations.

We attained Level 2 rating by Q4 2016, and through annual assessments, seek to obtain Level 3 by the Q3 of 2018.
